WalkMed manufactures a line of lightweight infusion pumps focused on the Chemotherapy and Pain Management markets. WalkMed also manufactures a pole mount infusion pump focused on Chemotherapy and Alternative-Site markets.
All WalkMed infusion pumps are manufactured at the WalkMed headquarters in Englewood, Colorado, USA. The headquarters contains extensive product development facilities to complement the manufacturing, quality and inventory departments.
Quality
The WalkMed manufacturing facility is registered with the Food and Drug administration and fully certified to ISO 13485 as well as the Canadian CMDCAS requirements. It has successfully passed current audits by the FDA and ISO. WalkMed infusion pumps and products have received 510k approval from the US FDA and Device Licenses from Health Canada.
Background
In early 2007, the WalkMed ambulatory line of infusion pumps was purchased by WalkMed Infusion LLC. The WalkMed ownership team has extensive experience in medical device development with a specific focus on fluid management and disposables. They have been recognized by MD&M with a Medical Design Excellence Award. Although WalkMed ambulatory pumps have been delivering dependability for over 20 years, the new WalkMed Infusion team has collaborated with partners and customers to ignite the next era of quality, affordable pumps and has expanded production into pole mounted pumps to complement the needs of our ambulatory customers.
